The new cover matches the home’s roof with matched shingles and a shape that feels natural.
We wrapped the support posts with brick that matches the house, making the extension feel like an original part of the home’s design.
Under the roof, we finished the ceiling with cedar tongue and groove. We also used cedar posts in the gable for a warm, rustic look.
Drainage was a priority the whole way through. Gutters were extended around the new patio cover and downspouts were hidden inside the brick columns, and drains pull water away.
The result was a new outdoor space that feels like a seamless extension of the home.
